James G. “Jim” Babb, 78, of Buna, Texas, died peacefully at home, Saturday, December 28, 2024, with his wife and daughter at his side. Jim died knowing his son, John Barnett, daughter, Roselyn Fesco, Jackie Parks and other family members and friends came to support his wife and him during his struggle with multiple illnesses throughout this time.
A memorial service, with Military Honors, will begin at 11:00 am, following a memorial visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at Farmer Funeral Home 415 N. 4th Street, in Silsbee. His cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
Jim is survived by his wife, Georgia; son, John Barnett, and his wife, Crystal; daughter, Roselyn Fesco, and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Anthony Parks, Ashlyn Parks-McClatchy, and her husband, Scott, Wesley Barnett, and his wife, Bailey, Cody Barnett, and his wife, Samantha, Desirae Boerger, Shae Whitehead, and her husband, Tyler, and Nathan Carter; great grandchildren, McKinley Rodriquez, Case Barnett, Sage Whitehead, and Harper and Hudson Coutee; sister in laws, Loretta Burris, and her husband, Troy, Susan Wilson, and her husband, Woody, and Jennifer Parker, and her husband, Dale; brother in laws, Jeffery Smith and Scott Smith, and his wife, Virginia; he will also be remembered by his special friends, the Lejeunes, the Tippetts, the Stinsons, the Whiteheads, Vance Hill, Dominic Carrica, Ova Morrow, and Mark Partee.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Mary, and Earl, who had 5 boys and 5 girls, with Jim being the youngest. All his siblings also preceded him; as well as his granddaughter, Brittany Hampton.
