James Costlow Obituary

James “Jimmy” Franklin Costlow, 61, of Vidor, Texas passed away January 31, 2021. Jimmy was born on March 14, 1959 to his parents, Percy Franklin Costlow and Freddie Mae Mobley-Costlow in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Jimmy will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother and some much more to all that knew him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. In his younger years, Jimmy competed in many rodeos. He loved taking care of and looking after animals. Jimmy liked to build things and crafting his woodworking skills.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Freddie Mae Costlow; his daughter, Tara Michelle Costlow; his grandson, Jackson William Pollok; his brothers, William Michael, Douglas Scott, and Stephen Todd Costlow; his numerous nieces and nephews; along with other loving family members and friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Percy Franklin Costlow; as well as his two sons, Justin and Keith; as well as his sister, Vicky Lynn Whitley.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home. A visitation weld be held an hour prior to the funeral service. A graveside committal service will be held at 3:00 pm at Felps Cemetery in Thicket, Texas.
