James “Wayne” Freeman, 58, of Woodville passed away February 25, 2023. He was born December 7, 1965, in Kountze, Texas to the late Henry Freeman and Barbara West.
Wayne was truly an amazing husband, daddy, Brother, uncle, and friend. He was one of a kind. His laughter was contagious. He loved to joke and pick. He would get that twinkle in his eye and you would know he was up to something. He could never hide his feelings you could read them on his face just as clearly as he was speaking them. He loved and cherished his grand babies, they were his world. He loved his family and friends, he would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone. He was as hard as a rock when he needed to be and soft as a feather at the same time; just ask his kids. He taught his kids to always be kind and respectful, and to never be a quitter. He loved life; he loved camping, fishing, and martial arts. Sometimes people would tell him he looked like Chuck Norris and that always gave him the biggest grin and make his whole day. Wayne was a hard working man who always made sure to provide for his family, he was a fighter and fought all the way to the end; He didn’t quit.
