James Plaunty

James "Jimmy" Herbert Plaunty,  77, passed peacefully on Friday October 2, 2020. He was a life long resident of Silsbee.  He was born on May 9, 1943 to Lavae Alexander and Albert James Plaunty, Sr.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Annette Plaunty, daughters Carrie St.Cyr and Jamie Plaunty,  son-in-law Scott St.Cyr, grandson who was his little buddy,  Ethan St.Cyr. Brothers Ernest Plaunty and wife Jackie,  Randy Sheppard and wife Kayla,  David Plaunty, Albert Plaunty, Jr., Tony Plaunty, Adam Plaunty, Leonard Plaunty, Sisters Brenda Battle, Loretta Besse, Linda Plaunty-Dupre, Macie Bernal and Cheryl Gentry-Chafin.  And numerous other family members and friends.  He was dearly loved and will be truly missed. 

He is proceeded in death by his mother Lavae Sheppard,  fathers Bill Sheppard and Albert Plaunty, Sr., Father in law and Mother in law Raymond and Lydia Mathis.

We would like to thank Hospice Plus for the excellent care they provided with a special thanks to Kim, Diane, David and Nikki.  We would also like to thank Shane Almond, Shawn Reeves, Sean Johnson, Chris Roy, Bailey Holt, Mike Fuller, Jason Cooper and Angie Shook for all the help throughout last month. You men sure made some of his wishes happen and Mrs. Angie you were an angel.
