Jamie Karen Gore, 44, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas.
Jamie was born December 8, 1979, to Johnnie Gore and Donna Dunnigan at her home in Silsbee, Texas. She was raised in Silsbee and later moved to Beaumont. She worked various jobs until she found her passion in cleaning and opened her own business. Most people remember Jamie for her quick wit and her love for making people laugh. She dedicated her extra time to helping others in need. Rarely was there a time that she was not making sure everyone she knew and encountered along the way had everything they needed, sometimes at the expense of leaving herself without. Jamie had no children of her own but had five dogs, Butters, Lil’ Bit, Melvin, Big and Zoey, that she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie H. Gore and Donna Dunnigan; both sets of grandparents, Herbert and Shirley Gore and Lawrence Dunnigan and Janet Dunnigan Sparks; and by brother, Johnnie Lynn Gore.
She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Gore of Silsbee; sister, Angie Copeland of Sour Lake; aunts, Barbara Sharp of Silsbee and Rachelle Dunnigan, of Rose City; uncles, Tony Gore of Silsbee, Shawn Dunnigan of Lumberton, Sean Dunnigan of Silsbee and Evans Dunnigan; cousins, William Drake II, Kristi Anderson, Daniel Drake, Kayla Frazier, Cody Drake, Brandie Musick, Heather Landry, Jessica Dunnigan, Sean Ben Dunnigan, Canton Dunnigan, Christopher Musick, and Abbigail Thomas; nieces, Brooklyn Copeland, Londyn Jackson and Lakyn Jackson; nephews, Brendan Copeland and Tristan Gore; and by special friend, Chris Hamilton.
