Jaycee Farmer Obituary

Jaycee Samantha Farmer, 23, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Jaycee was born on August 23, 1998 in Beaumont, Texas and at just six months old was diagnosed with Turner syndrome. She spent her childhood in Evadale where she attended school until the eighth grade. When Jaycee was 17, she moved to Fort Smith Arkansas to Brownwood Life Care Center where she was able to finish high school. Jaycee was the light of her family and the most special gift they ever received. Even though Jaycee never spoke a word, she taught her family so much about strength, love, and kindness and that itself spoke volumes. She was the picture of pure innocence and though she fought many health battles her whole life, she was able to stay strong and find joy in the simplest things. Her family will always remember those sweet, beautiful moments that they shared the 23 years that they were blessed to have Jaycee. Though her loss is hard and she will be so very missed, Jaycee is now completely healed and resting in the arms of Jesus.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Mike Farmer and Howard Midkiff; and great grandmother Natalie Hargrove.

Jaycee is survived by her parents, Jesse and Kelly Farmer; siblings, Kayla Franklin and husband Chase, Colton Cotten, Ryan Hargrove and wife Kim; grandparents, Henry “Skipper” Storm and Linda Storm; nephews, Laramie and Alexander; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

Funeral Services will be held at 10AM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. Visitation will be held at the church Friday evening from 5-8PM.

Jaycee spent the last seven years at Brownwood Life Care Center. The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to every staff member for their exceptional love and care they gave to Jaycee during her stay there.
