Jennie Bea (Watts) Nugent

Jennie Bea Nugent, 83, of Silsbee, passed from this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Mill Creek Skilled Nursing Facility, in Silsbee.

She was born in Silsbee on Monday, August 24, 1942, to J.C. and Nellie (Callaway) Watts. Jennie was a longtime member of Full Gospel Evangelistic Temple, in Silsbee, and will be remembered for her love of cooking and gardening. She was a big part of the lives of her great niece and nephew, and will forever remain a loving Aunt to many.

Survivors include her brothers, R.C. Watts and his wife, Louise, Wayne Watts and his wife, Betty, and Paul Watts and his wife, Wanda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Garrett Nugent; sister, Betty Crawford; and brother, Herman Watts.
