Jerry Curtis Bryant, 71, of Lumberton passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1951 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to the late Curtis Mansfield Bryant and Jessie Faye Mahair Bryant.
Jerry married his sweetheart, Judy Nelline Taylor on December 4, 1970 and they had one daughter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting. Jerry also raised rabbits and chickens. Jerry loved his family above all else and was a dear friend to many. He had a way of making every single person he came in contact with feel special and like they were just the best of friends. Jerry was truly one of a kind and many even have referred to him as “the greatest man they ever knew.” Jerry was a loving and faithful husband, father, PopPop, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by both parents; and a brother, Robert Plaia.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy Bryant; daughter, Michelle Allen and husband David; grandchildren, Bryant Allen, Georgia Allen, Samuel Allen; sisters, Darlene Gentz and husband George, Kathy Woods; and numerous nieces, nephews, other special family members, and friends.
