Jerry Pate Pommier (Harris)
1941 – 2021
Jerry Pate Pommier (Harris) passed away to be with our Lord and Savior on June 2, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. Jerry was born to her parents, Leon Leslie Harris and Bertha Moss-Harris on April 3, 1941 in Evadale, Texas.
Jerry was the oldest child of twelve with a compassionate and care-giving nature everyone loved being around. She was a most special person and will be deeply missed. Jerry retired from Evadale ISD after 28 years of faithful and dedicated service. The staff and former students will remember her greeting them with love and a smile. She enjoyed cooking, shopping for antiques, going to the casino, taking care of her yard and flowers, along with many other pastimes with family. She loved her grandchildren dearly. To Jerry, they were the light that fell from Heaven and filled her heart with joy. Jerry took care of everyone around her and always left you feeling better than before. Her love and devotion to family knew no bounds. Jerry believed that family is everything and always looked forward to bringing her loved ones together, through both the good times and bad times. She was the rock of the family. Reserved and strong-willed with a fighting spirit full of wisdom that will continue to pass into the hearts of loved ones.
