Jill Elizabeth (Norwood) Short

Jill Elizabeth Norwood Short, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday July 10,2023. She was born here in
Silsbee, Texas on February 24,1974 to the late Jimmy Carl Norwood and Hazel Raye Norwood.

She married her husband, David on August 5,1994 and they had two daughters; Evie and Carlie, whom she loved
spending time with, no matter what it was they were doing. She was an active member of New Faith
Fellowship Church in Silsbee, Tx. She was a Worship Leader and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a
member of the singing group “Scarlet Thread” with her husband David. Her passion was to share her gift
of singing, in order to honor the Lord.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; Jimmy and Hazel Norwood.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Short; daughters, Evie Hart and husband Zach, and Carlie
Short; brother, Don Norwood, and wife Jill; and David’s parents, Dwight and Jeanne Short.
The family would like to send a special thanks to all the family and friends for the calls, texts, prayers,
thoughts, and donations. They have all been received as blessings from God and certainly not gone
