Jimmy Fred Anders

Jimmy Fred Anders, 83, of Kountze, died Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Beaumont. He was born on Sunday, January 25, 1942, in San Augustine, to Joe and Margie (Mills) Anders.

Jimmy Fred retired from Temple-Inland as a Millwright, after over 42 years of service. He will be remembered as an expert mechanic, even creating his own tools, when he needed to. He was a Master Mason, and a member of Pine Lodge #642, in Kountze, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his sons, Jim Anders and his wife, Donna, and Jay Anders; and his brother, Gerald Anders and his wife, Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jackie B. Anders; brothers, Terrell, Joe, David, and Tom Anders; and his sisters, Nell Jacobson and Joann Dorsett.
