Jimmy Busby Obituary

Jimmy Wayne Busby, 67, of Spurger passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was born Saturday, September 27, 1958, to Olvie Busby and Daisy Mae (Green) Busby.

Jimmy loved his family dearly, especially his wife. He and Melissa met in November 2011 and married on February 05, 2015. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, and being around friends and family. Finally, Jimmy had a deep passion for painting, not only loved the work, but was known for his attention to detail and commitment to perfection on every job. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond Loftin, Floyd Loftin and Randy Joe Busby; sister, Diane Palmer

Survivors include his daughters, Melinda Ard and her husband John, Miranda Singleton and her husband James; his son Curtis Busby and his wife Tonya; his sister, Kathy Emmons and his brother, David Busby.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rocky Ard and his wife Kasey, Johnny Ard and his wife Valeree, Landon Pierce, Bryan Singleton, Grayson Singleton, Brianna Busby, Alyssa Grissom and her husband Jacob, Chelsi Busby, Kalee Busby, Addason Busby, Natalee Busby, Jackson Busby, Abie Busby, Tristan Busby, and Halie Busby; 1 great-granddaughter, Annie Mae Grissom.
