Jimmy Clowers

Jimmy Clowers, 80, of Fred, passed from this life Saturday, April 04, 2026. He was born Tuesday, March 19, 1946, in Rusk County to Johnny Clowers and Twillie Mae (Williams) Clowers.

Jimmy was an avid fisherman, along with his soulmate/wife of 38 years. He also loved to hunt, especially rabbit hunting, maintained his beautiful yard, then have a little fun gambling.

Survivors include his children, Jimmy Joe Clowers, Floyd Ray Starke, his wife Kimberly, Rhonda Freeman, Frances Sims, and Johnny Starke; brothers, Steve Clowers and his wife Kendra, Raymond J. Clowers and his wife Katrina, Jerry Clowers and his wife Rachael, Johnny Clowers, Gene Clowers, and David Lee Clowers; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and best buds, Tim and Jay.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Thelma Clowers; children, John Wesley Clowers, Julie Mae Taylor, Diane Flores and David Starke; grandson, Mitch Qualis.
