Jo Agnes (Lee) Allen

Jo Agnes Allen, 93,  of Silsbee passed away Wednesday November 4, 2020. She was born October 11, 1927 in Glenmora, Louisiana to the late H.N "Shorty" Lee and Gladys Lee.

Jo loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with her family. She was a nurse for many years and worked at the hospital in Kountze as well as the hospital in Silsbee. She married her husband Willie L. "Bill" Allen July 5, 1947 and they welcomed their only son, Dennis, that next August. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. "Bill" Allen; sister, Ouida Mae Flanakin; and her beloved dog, Buster. 

Jo is survived by her son, Dennis M. Allen and wife Sandy of Silsbee; grandchildren, Kevin Lee Allen of Virginia, Stacy Caldwell and husband John of Livingston; great grandchildren, Jaren, Joey, Justin, and Jace Caldwell, Gage Kincaid, Cade Allen; and great great grandson, Easton Carter Kincaid.

Graveside services will be held at 2PM Friday, Novemebr 6, 2020 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee with visitation from 1PM until the time of the service.

Services are held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
