John David Allen Sr.

John David Allen Sr. was born January 3, 1932 in Beaumont Texas, and passed away November 17, 2021 in Lumberton Texas. JD was happily married to his wife Adele for an incredible seventy years. He was a hard-working man who served his community selflessly with the Beaumont fire department for thirty-six years. 

JD is preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. Allen Sr. and Edith E. Smith and his son Larry Allen.  JD is survived by his wife Opal Adele Allen, sons David Allen and wife Kim of Lumberton, Wayne Allen and wife Debbie of Vidor. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23 at Rosedale Baptist Church in Beaumont Tx at noon. 

Service will follow at the church at 2:00 pm followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
