She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel (Golden) Sasser; and her husband, Henry Petry. She is survived by her brothers, James and Joseph Sasser, her stepson Jeff Petry and wife Sandra, grandchildren, Jason and Jana Petry, Sarah and Neff Herrera and Adam Petry, great grandchildren Trent and Gabby Petry ; Norah and Olivia Herrera. Private family services were held.
