Judy Rebecca Hensley, 81, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born in Port Arthur, on Wednesday, July 26, 1944, to James Earl and Maurine Rosella (Doyle) Bottoms.
Judy was a 1962 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School where she was an Indianette. She worked many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a Medical Clerk. She was then recruited by the Dr’s with Beaumont Neurosurgery and Neurology, where she continued her medical career before retiring. She will be remembered as a fan of Tennessee Volunteers Athletics, especially football and women’s basketball. She also enjoyed quilting and keeping up with all the family’s sports and musical activities. Judy will forever remain a loving wife, mother, sister, and Granny.
Survivors include her sons, Ron Hensley Jr., Michael Hensley and his wife Dolores, and Shannon Hensley and his wife, Annie; grandchildren, Meagan, Steven and his wife, Jackie, Amber, Braeden, Zachary, Marshall and his wife, Jessica, Rebecca, Adam, David, Daniel and his wife, Kailey, and James; great-grandchildren include, Kaylene, Brielle, Greta, Jayden, Mason, Molly, Lucas, Eliza, and Violet; brothers, Farland Bottoms and his wife, Janis, and Rev. Chris Bottoms and his wife, Trish; and her sister, Marleen David and her husband, Harry; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and extended loving relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Ron Hensley; sisters, Norma Conner, and Anna Reinecker; and her brother, Michael Bottoms.
