Judy Lee (Fitzpatrick) Swift

Judy Lee Swift, 81 of Kountze passed away peacefully at her home on August 27, 2024. Judy was a member of Happy Valley Church in Kountze and an active Eastern Star. 

 Judy was born September 28, 1942 to Rhea Jane and Donald “Bud” Fitzpatrick in Sheridan, Wyoming. Growing up on ranches in Montana and Wyoming gave her a life long love of animals and rodeos. She moved to Texas and married Harold Ray Swift July 8, 1961. She was master gardener, our family’s historian and an adventurer. Judy loved traveling back to Montana and spending time with her family.  

She is proceeded in death by her parents and two siblings Kay and Paddy. Her husband Harold Ray Swift and a son Randy Swift. As well as her spouse James Coudrain and beloved dog Callie.

Judy is survived by her sons Steve Swift and his wife Emma of Gail, TX and Everett Swift and his wife Belvia of Kountze, TX. Her grandchildren Nicole Rosen (Victor), Samantha Brooks (Brendon), Payton Nystrom (John), Erika Franco-Swift (Ethan), Hector Franco, Rhea Smith (Justin) Kevin Caswell (Jessica)  Charlie Swift (Danette), Christopher Swift (Breianna), Dalton James and Breanna James. Her great grandchildren Gabby, MaKaylee, Trapper, Henley, Tyler, Sophia, Saige, Stetson, Rowan, James, Haylie and Violet.
