Judy A. Dozier, 83, of Woodville, passed away on Monday May 18, 2026. Judy was born on July 2, 1942 in Beeville, Texas to Robert and Trula Vaught.
Judy and Philip married on June 29, 1958 and celebrated over 63 years of marriage. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend; remembered for her hospitality, caretaking skills and especially her good cooking. Judy was a long-time member of Woodville Church of Christ. She was a devoted Christian lady and loved by many. She will be missed.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janice Prince and her husband, Philip.
Survivors include her brother, Johnnie Vaught (Kathy); her sister, Nelda Vaught; her two daughters, Beverly Hunt and husband Harold, Pam Miller and husband Art; her son, Donald Dozier and wife Shay; her five grandchildren, Corey Hunt, Lindsey Hunt Glover (James), Kristen Miller Warner (Mark), Jenna Miller Wolf (Andrew) and Tyler Dozier (Nichole); four great grandchildren, Charlie, Aurora, Cole, Hazel and Grace who is on the way. Survivors also include a host of extended family and close friends.
