June "June Bug" Marie (Carter) Jones

June “June Bug” Marie Jones, 47, of Silsbee passed away Thursday April 6, 2023. She was born on November 16, 1975, in Houma, Louisiana to her parents Roy Malcom Carter and Bobbie Sue Erwin.

June was a member of Mount Olive church in Fred, she loved being at the beach, and loved all things butterflies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and teacher, and left a mark on everyone she met.  

She is preceded in death by her sister, Tammie Sue Carter.

She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-three years and eight months, Jeremy Jones; Father Roy Malcom Carter and wife Patsy; mother Bobbie Sue Erwin; children, Clayton Jones and wife Kearsten, Hayley Ruckett and husband Malcom, Elton Jones, Kayley Fay Jones; grandchildren, Darron Jacob Jones, Alison Rose Jones; siblings, Marie Carter, Tammy Lynn Pisani and husband Chris Regina Scarborough and husband Russell, Stacey Nugent, Anthony Nugent, Robert Nugent and wife Charvelle, David Nugent and wife Brandi, Terry Nugent and wife Meredith; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

June Bug will be missed so much by everyone who knew and loved her.
