Justin James Cunningham

Justin James Cunningham, 42, of Silsbee passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1981 in Silsbee to Teresa “Tessie) Lee- Scott Cunningham and the late Harvey “Dwain” Cunningham.

Justin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and father of his sweet daughter, Macie Lee. Justin loved his older brother, Brandon, who was his best friend that he has missed dearly since his passing. They were several years apart in age and Justin always enjoyed fishing, skiing, and boating with his brother. Justin was an avid motor sportsman from battery powered cars or motorcycles as a toddler to an award-winning motor cross racer as a teenager, to being a race car driver as a young man. Racing cars was an activity he shared with his late father. He spent endless weekends traveling in Texas with his mother to participate in motorcycle tournaments. Justin completed his degree in Diesel Mechanics from Lamar University as well as his certification in Hydraulics. During employment Justin worked as a diesel mechanic and auto salesman. Justin enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey “Dwain” Cunningham; brother, Brandon Dwain Cunningham; grandparents, Hazel A. and Harvey Cunningham, and Ida Olive and Archie James Scott;

Justin is survived by his daughter, Macie Lee Cunningham; mother, Teresa “Tessie” Cunningham; aunts, Eloise “Elly” Soler, Melissa “Missy” Marie Graham, Patsy Young, Loretta Hood; great aunts, Dora Belle Damuth and Shirley Ann Goodloe; nephew, Logan Andrew Cunningham; cousins, Gregory Spencer Landgraf, Ian Edward Landgraf, Carly Marie Soler, Madison Daniel Graham, Andrew Jefferson Graham, Christine Rexwinkle, Mack Richard Young, Ben Fox, Devin Hood; second cousins, Grover Scott Damuth, Floyd Hardy Goodloe, Cindy Ann Goodloe Smith, Sherry Lynn Goodloe Evans, Sidney  Richardson Goodloe; and numerous other family members and friends.
