Karl Evans Wells

Karl Evans Wells, 40, longtime resident of Buna, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1983 in Jasper, Texas to Whitley Wells and Teresa (Mize) Wells.

Karl graduated from Evadale High School class of 2002. He married his wife, Sarah Curtis on July 1, 2006 and they were married for 17 years. Karl enjoyed many hobbies and loved to collect knives, guns, and lighters. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Karl was a hard worker, a loving husband, beloved son and father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Karl is survived by his loving wife, Sarah (Curtis) Wells; daughters, Rose Wells, Merry Wells, Ruth Curtis; parents, Whitley and Teresa Wells; siblings, William Wells and wife Kristin, Karrie Wells; grandmothers, Verna Wells and Glenda Mize; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
