Kathi Dianne (Coward) Curtis

Kathi Dianne Curtis, born July 2, 1955 in Woodville, TX, passed away July 18, 2021 in League City, TX.  She was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Evadale and preceded in death by her parents Joel M and Mollie Ann Conner Coward.  Kathi is survived by loving husband of 46 years, Jerry David Curtis; daughter Staci Dianne McCoy and husband Sam; son Joshua David Curtis and wife Melissa;  her step mother Mary Frances Odom Coward; grandchildren Molli Etta, Stella Rose, Esther Lyn and Emery Jane Curtis; siblings Letha Jo Battle and husband Robert, Myles Coward, Kevin Coward and wife Dawn.  

Kathi was a loving wife to Jerry for over 46 years. They loved spending time together and had many adventures with traveling and camping.  She was a great mother to Staci and Joshua and was always there for them in all of life’s events. And most of all she was the best Mawmaw to her four beautiful granddaughters, Molli Etta, Stella Rose, Esther Lyn, and Emery Jane.  There were no limitations to what she would do for her grand babies. She loved getting family together for her “family parties” with all of her brothers, sisters and her many nieces and nephews. She made sure the family was always gathering.  She always wanted to take trips with her kids and grandkids and went and experienced many places with them. She was the most gracious person and helped not only family and friends but also strangers and people in the community. She always wanted to make sure everyone had anything they needed. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and all who knew her.  We can’t wait to see her once again in the Kingdom of God.
