Kathy Sue (Mock) Shandy

Kathy Sue Shandy, 60, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020.  Kathy was born on Wednesday, October 7, 1959 to Willie and Lydia Mock in Baytown, Texas.  Kathy loved to be with family; and friends who were considered family.  She spent most of her life helping other people and always had a contagious smile.  Kathy like fast cars and cooking and she loved being on the river. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Shandy; her father, Willie Mock; her mother, Lydia Gilchriest; and brothers, Dwain and Dwight Mock.

Kathy is survived by her children, Chloe Bertrand, and husband, Lindsey of Vidor, and Chris and Taylor Dyer of Silsbee, 11 step-children; 2 grandchildren, Chandler and Brooke Tanton of Silsbee; siblings, Karen and Craig Gremillan, Sophia and Dell West, Charlene and Gathan Fountain, Nora and Dude Fuller, James and Debbie Gilchriest, and Malone Gilchriest; as well as other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Kathy Shandy will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Farmer Funeral Home.
