Kerry Jean Bendy

Kerry Jean Bendy, 83, of Lumberton passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023. He was born on September 27, 1939 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Cecil Jean Bendy and Jamie Glen Rose Dennis.

Kerry was a people person who definitely had the gift of gab. He could talk to anyone which in turn, made him a quick friend to anyone he came in contact with. He expressed a sort of confidence that made his drive and determination apparent to everyone. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Patricia Bendy.

Kerry is survived by the mother of his children, Myra Reynolds Bendy of Lumberton; children, Jeanie Bendy Reeves of Lumberton, Baron Jean Bendy and wife Danna of Lumberton, Bart Kerry Bendy and wife Nikki of Lumberton; stepson, Delus Kuhnert of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jacey Rose Reeves, Shadow Rae Bendy, Beaux Cecil Bendy, Gray Tarius Bendy, and Spencer Anthony Bendy all of Lumberton; sisters, Cecile Clausen and husband Jim Heath of Buna, Glenda Burres of Boerne; honorary daughter, Jennifer Marlene Racy; honorary granddaughter, Brandy Racy; and numerous other family members and friends.
