Kerry Marilyn (Humphrey) Brumley

Kerry Marilyn Humphrey Brumley, age 78, of Lumberton, TX peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Born on December 13, 1947 in Newton, TX to Harlston Winfred Humphrey and Verdie Olds Humphrey, she grew up to be a woman known for her love of Jesus, her selfless heart, and her beautiful spirit.

Kerry dedicated her life wholeheartedly to her family and to the service of others. Her favorite moments were spent surrounded by her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, being a voracious reader, or tending to her beautiful flowers. Known for her boundless capacity to love, Kerry never met a stranger and was famous for adopting and caring for both pets and people, making everyone feel like they belonged. She was affectionately known as "Nana" to many, but she was especially adored by her grandbabies.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Stacie Hennigan, and son-in-law, Randy Hennigan. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Chanel and Anthony Lockwood, Caity and Ryan Molbert, and Josh and Maja Hennigan; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Trystin, Leslie, Bryson, Chloe, Lucy, and Stacy. She is also survived by her siblings, Ivy Patillo, Angie Primeaux, Bethann Pritchard, Cindi Hudson, David Fuller, and Norman Ursprung; her nieces, Tina (Don) Martinez and Kalaya (Greg) Craft and their families, great-nephew, David Cory Rainwater, as well as many more family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Juanell, and her brother Mike. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Grace Church from 2:00 - 5:00pm; 1103 US 69 Kountze, TX 77625.
