Kimberly Lyn Trahan Boudreaux, 49, of Buna passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was born on November 8, 1971 in Nederland, Texas to Leamon Charles Payton and Martha George Payton.
Kim graduated from Nederland High School in 1990 and then attended Lamar College. She was also a member of the Buna Volunteer Fire Department. Kim battled cancer for over ten years and rang the remission bell four plus times. Throughout those years, she was an inspiration to fellow cancer patients. She counseled and guided several others throughout sickness and recovery and was an inspiration to all. She was a comfort and a friend to any person who came in contact with her. Kim, in every single aspect of the word, was a survivor. A Warrior. An inspiration. She will be remembered not only as a true survivor, but also as a true hope to those suffering from cancer. Kim was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and MoMo. She enjoyed camping and especially fishing. She was incredibly loved by anyone who knew her and she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her parents, Leamon and Martha Payton; loving husband of nearly 18 years, Ryan Boudreaux; children, Toby Trahan, Shelby Trahan and fiancée Hannah; grandsons, Hudson and Jaden; siblings, Lori Arredondo and husband Daryl, Brad Payton and wife Karrie, Tony Payton and wife Paula; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
