Larry Shelton Cleveland

Larry Shelton Cleveland, 80, of Silsbee, TX passed away April 28, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.  Larry was born March 23, 1940 to Thurman Willis and Eddie Lois Capps Cleveland in Rye. Mr. Cleveland loved art, singing Karaoke and recorded songs on SingSnap.com under the name "KokomoElDiablo”.  Larry had twin dogs, Willie and Millie, and a pet rooster ‘Festus’ that were his constant companions.   He enjoyed taking his boat to the river with his family and loved to fish and hunt.  Larry was an avid collector of guns and knives. He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Silsbee, daughter Mary Kathryn Shipman and husband David of Silsbee, sister Therma Lois Blanchard and husband Adam of Silsbee, and brother Joe Grover Cleveland of the Austin area. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and son John Aaron Cleveland. Graveside services will be 10 am Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze.

The family asks that cell phones be turned off or left in vehicles.  We also ask that “social distancing” be practiced at the service.
