Larry Eugene Nance Jr.

Larry Eugene Nance Jr, 48, of Lumberton passed away Friday May 10, 2024. He was born May 26, 1975 in Silsbee to the late Larry Nance Sr. and Debbie Kilcrease Nance.

Gene served 6 years in the Army, doing 4 tours in Iraq. He was a member of Calvary Baptist in Silsbee; he loved watching sports especially the Dallas Cowboys and Golden State Warriors. He had seen every episode of Walker Texas Ranger but would always want to watch every episode again. Gene also enjoyed going to the casino even though he never won big; he just went for fun. Gene was a loving father, husband, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by both parents, and his sister Michelle Mathis.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Melissa; children, Kayla Nance, Matthew Nance, Brittani Nance; his brother Randy Nance and wife Melissa; brothers by choice, Jake Arredondo, Martin Lackings Jr.;  and a host of other family members and friends.
