Larry Don Wisdom

Larry Don Wisdom, 74, of Pearland, and a longtime former resident of Silsbee, passed from this life on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. He was born in Cleveland, Texas on Tuesday, September 18, 1951, to Stanley and Annie Mae (Bohannon) Wisdom.

Larry was a former Store Manager of Brookshire Brother’s Grocery in Kountze, and enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and classic cars, especially working on race cars.

Survivors include his children, Eric Wisdom and his wife, Lacie, and Melissa Horn and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Tyler Wisdom and his wife Kat, Dawson Wisdom, Darby Gore and her husband Wes, Brianne Payne and her husband James, and Colby Horn and his wife, Rylee; 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bettie Wisdom Smith, and Darlene Whitmire.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Jerry, Alton, and Pete Wisdom.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. Mr. Wisdom’s cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
