Laura Beth (Kelley) Bruce

Laura Beth Bruce, 84, of Evadale, died Friday, January 31, 2025, in Texas City.  She was born on Sunday, September 1, 1940 to Paul E. and Mary (Whitmire) Kelley. 

Laura was a retired massage therapist. She loved her ranches, dancing and traveling but most of all attending all her grandchildren’s events.  She was also a member of the first Buna girls State Championship basketball team and even assisted coaching her great granddaughters Little Dribblers team.  Laura will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother and devoted Granny.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Mike Bruce; sons, Ben Bruce, and his wife, Angie, Eric Bruce and Barry Bruce; her grandchildren, Matt, Erica, James, Jake, Brandon, Shelby, Sarah and Lauren; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Dennis Lane Kelley.
