Laura Michelle Stuckey

Laura Michelle Stuckey, 29, of Austin, Texas, passed away on December 23, 2019.  She was born on May 28, 1990, in Beaumont, Texas. Laura grew up in Silsbee, Texas, where she graduated from Silsbee High School in 2008 and later attended the University of Texas in Austin.

Laura will always be remembered as an intelligent, compassionate, and caring woman filled with light, love, and laughter. Strong-willed and independent, Laura approached life with gusto, whether relishing the outdoors by camping and hiking with Lily, being the best concert buddy for Caitlin, or taking first prize in trivia with her Posse crew.

Laura is survived by her parents, Amy and Donald Worsham of Conroe, Texas, and Jim and Tammy Stuckey of Kountze, Texas; grandparents, Linda Stuckey, and Sam and Frances Worsham; brother and sisters, Caitlin Stuckey, Shelby Simmons, Brooke Reid and husband James, Kasey Simmons, Penelope Worsham, and Max Worsham; niece, Isabella Proctor, nephew, Adynn Tice; eight aunts; three uncles; innumerable cousins; and her loyal companion, her dog, Lily Ruth.  Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Janelle and Luther Christian and cousin, Steven Mazac.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, January 4, 2020, at Farmer Funeral Home.
