Liubov Gelei

Liubov Gelei, 74, of Lumberton passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was born into a hardworking family in Chernivtsi, Ukraine on August 24, 1948 to parents Silva Romanovska and Victor Vlad. She was the oldest of four children. Liubov had two brothers, Oleg and Vyacheslav and one sister, Anna.

She married her husband Otto Gelei on June 27, 1965 and they lived a happy life together for 49 years. Together they had two daughters, Inna and Elmira Gelei. Liubov was blessed with five grandchildren, Yevhen, Yulia, Maksym, Yura and Jasmine; and five great grandchildren, Tara’s, Alisa, Roma, Zlata, and Igor.

We love you so much our dear mama, grandma, and grand grand grandma.
