Louise Matthews

Louise Matthews, 85, of Lumberton passed away Thursday July 25, 2024. She was born November 22, 1938, in Village Mills to the late Matthew and Lillian Oliver.

Louise was a home maker and enjoyed her time with her family, baking, doing puzzles, reading, and tending to her flowers. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by, her husband Tom Matthews; both parents; grandson Larry Eugene Matthews Jr.; great grand daughter Kyndall Jones.

Louise is survived by her children, Larry Matthews, Don Matthews, and Terrie Anderson and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Kristin Jones and husband Tyson, Kory Anderson, Annie Matthews, Nate Matthews; great grandchildren, Kylee and Grayson Jones; sister Adlene and husband Vernon; brothers Cleo Oliver, Mark Oliver and wife Suzy; and a host of other family members and friends.
