Lynard Bailey Harper, 72, of Warren passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born January 16, 1948 in Beaumont, Texas to the late William Thomas Harper and Olga Mae Bailey Harper.
Lynard was a one of kind man that had a silly, amazing sense of humor. He could get into character at any given moment. He was an avid woodworker and artist who also enjoyed guns and photography. Lynard loved his dogs, but especially loved his family. He was a loving husband to his wife of nearly 35 years, a devoted father to his children, and a beloved PopPop or “PawPaw choo-choo” to his grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Will T. Harper and Walter Harper; and his beloved dog Lucy, AKA “Spunky Monkey”.
Lynard is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Harper; children, Lynard Scott Harper and wife Kelly, Angela Lynette Cole and husband Jason, Stephanie Cook and wife Christina; grandchildren, Dylan Penrod, Taylor Cousins, Ann Marie LaBarge, Micah Thompson Harper, Mackenzie Wilkes, Johnathon Horne, Jarrick Harper; and one great granddaughter, Kleah Cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday, January 22, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held two Hours prior to the service from 12-2PM.
Cremation services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
