Marcia K. (Koonce) West

Marcia K. West, 64, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born on Thursday, November 3, 1960, in Garden City, Kansas, to William “Bill” and Rosemary (Sarver) Koonce.

Marcia worked alongside her husband, Lester, in their roofing business and was also an Apartment Manager. She lived in Vidor most of her life and enjoyed, fishing, crabbing, and going to the casino. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son; Bradley; daughters; Leslie and Sharon; sisters, Beulah, and Martha; brother, Danny; grandchildren, Bradley Jr., Bree, Brett, Brylee, Slaton, Molly, and Myles; and her niece, Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; brother, John Gilbert; and sisters, Lucretia Ann, and Molly Beth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mrs. West’s cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
