Margaret Evelyn (Richardson) Duhamel

Margaret Evelyn Duhamel, 91, of Lumberton passed away Thursday January 25, 2024. She was born December 31, 1932 in LaRue, Texas to the late Charlie Joe Richardson and Iley Elizabeth Bailey Richardson.

Margaret enjoyed spending her time, Quilting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, puzzles, dominos, and cards. She was a member of the One City Church in Beaumont. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded by her loving husband of many years, Alfred V. Duhamel; daughter Patsy Louise Whittaker; grandson Adam Brennan; and both parents.

She is survived by, her daughter, Loretta Dale and husband Charles of Lumberton; sons, Alfred “Fred” Duhamel and wife Janet of Port Arthur, James Duhamel and wife Mary of Silsbee; grandchildren, Aaron Russell, Forrest Russell, Sherilyn Chandler, Dawn Fisher, Cory Dale, Chandra Agrasanchez; eleven great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
