Marie (Channel) Tarver

Marie Tarver, 81 passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born on October 10, 1942 in Douglass, Texas to the late Albert Lelan Channel and Juanita Marie (Griffin) Channel.

Marie graduated from Douglass High School in 1960. She enjoyed many hobbies including antiquing. She worked for American Real Estate and was the manager over Calder Oakes Apartment Complex.  Marie was a private but also personable woman who took pride in being a hardworker. She made several friends through her time in real estate and she adored her family. She was so loved and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry and Dale Channel; and grandson, Ethan Wolters.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Charles Tarver; children, Mike Wolters and wife Sheila, Lisa Kethley and husband Jef; brother, Gary Channel; sister, Doris Lang; grandchildren, Devin Whatley, Jerit Kethley, Jillian Kethley; and numerous other family members and friends.
