Funeral services for Marilyn Elizabeth Jolly are at 10 am Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. A public visitation will be 5 pm - 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jolly, 82, of Silsbee passed away July 28, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. She was born in Robeline, LA. December 4, 1937 to Lloyd and Eva Lucille Platt Chandler.
Marilyn was a graduate of Jasper High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Teel’s Maintenance and Supply for 25 years. Mrs. Jolly loved to travel, and she loved NASCAR. She enjoyed cooking with her granddaughters for the holidays. Mrs. Jolly was a member of Woodcrest Methodist Church in Lumberton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Don Jolly. Survivors include: her daughter Tamera McDonald and son-in-law Wesley; son Michael Jolly, and daughter-in-law Stephanie Jolly; and brother Kenneth Chandler. She is also survived by her granddaughters: Jenny Wilson, Chasetie Flowers, Ashley Guthrie and Whitney Delacerda; and great grandchildren: Jaselyn, Aubrey, Aaron, Ryelynn, Austin, Ty, Blakelea and Julian.
