Mark Alexander Nelson

Mark Alexander Nelson, 66, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on April 19, 2022. Mark was born on November 7, 1955 in Mission, Texas and grew up to become a wonderful husband and father. He was very proud of his children, grand children and great grand children. He loved them deeply and wanted them and everyone to know and always remember. Mark also loved bass fishing and baseball. Mark is preceded in death by his father,  Pete Dodgen and  mother, Irene Dodgen. Survivors include wife Vick Nelson, children Christi Richardson and husband Donald, son, Michael Nelson and wife Alicia. Grand children, David Jackson and wife Shaelynn of Evadale, Hunter Jackson and wife Carley of Evadale, Cutler Jackson of Evadale, Emily Nelson of Silsbee, Easton Nelson of Silsbee, Brinn Richardson and Trent Richardson. Great grand children Brody Jackson, Abigail Jackson, Allyson Jackson, Huntly Jackson, Charley Jackson. Sisters and brothers Sally Schawtz, Lockett Nelson, Donna Dodgen and Les Dodgen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, April 21, 2022 at  Farmer Funeral Home  with burial to follow at R.S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee, Texas.
