Marlon McCullough, 105, of Silsbee passed away March 24, 2020. He was born on a farm in Kinston Alabama on December 26, 1914 and graduated from Kinston High School.
Mr. McCullough was a member of the US Naval Reserve until the outbreak of World War II when he then joined the Army and served in the South Pacific.
He had a long career in the paper industry. He came to Texas in 1954 to help start the paper mill in Evadale where he retired in 1981. Upon retirement he enjoyed fishing and gardening and was always active working at something.
Mr. McCullough is survived by his son, William McCullough of Silsbee and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Services are pending at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee and Evans-Brown Funeral Home in Florala, Alabama.
He will be laid to rest at Traveler's Rest Cemetery in Samson Alabama.
