Michael Lee Grisham

Michael “Mike” Lee Grisham, 72, of Silsbee, died Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was born July 3, 1951, in Silsbee, to Edger Richard Jr. and Francis Viola (Kelly) Grisham.

Mike was a mechanic for many years, and also worked as a Millwright. He was a US Army Veteran, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He will be remembered as a jokester, but he also always let you know he loved you. He was truly a man that never met a stranger and was kind to all. He will forever remain a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years; Gay Nell Grisham, of Silsbee; daughter, Lisa Richardson, and her husband, Joe, of Buna; grandchildren, Kayla Richardson, Dustin Richardson, Darron Grisham, and Peyton Grisham; brothers, Eddie Grisham, Donald Grisham, and his wife, Rebecca and Gary Grisham, and his wife, Tammy; sister-in-law, Mary Alice Grisham. He was preceded in death by; his parents; sons, Dustin, and Bret Grisham; and his brother, Johnny Grisham.

A gathering of Mike’s family and friends will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Farmer Funeral Home 415 N. 4th St. Silsbee, TX 77656. His funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, also at Farmer Funeral Home. His interment will immediately follow at RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery.
