Michelle Marie (Longpre') Fisher

Michelle Marie Longpre Fisher, aged 58, passed away on May 22, 2026. She was born on June 02, 1967, in Hempstead, New York. Michelle was the cherished daughter of Richard and Carol Longpre’. Michelle grew up alongside her siblings, forming deep bonds and creating beautiful lifelong memories, including unforgettable childhood visits with cousins at Nana and Poppy’s house. To those who loved her, Michelle was an amazing soul-kind, vibrant, and always there to care for others. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially camping with family and working on diamond painting for her family and friends.

Michelle had an extraordinary heart for children. While raising her own three boys, her home was a constant sanctuary of laughter and play, always filled with kids (some not even her) and family. Her greatest delight in life, however, came later when she earned her favorite title: “Mimi.” Her grandbabies became her absolute world, and she poured endless pride and love into every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Jimmy Fisher; her beloved children, Scott Bailey and fiancé Brittany, James Bailey and his wife Sonya, and Josh Bailey and his wife Megan; her “bonus boys,” Jimbo Fisher and his wife Jessica, and Kenneth Cain and his wife Taryn; her father, Richard Longpré, her “bonus mom,” Kay Longpré; her sisters, Janine Farmer and Lisa Blankenship; her brother Billy Longpré; and her stepbrother, David Stovall. Her legacy of love additionally lives on through a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends.

Michelle is reunited in eternity with her mother, Carol Ann Longpré; her sister, Claudine Sylvia Longpré, James and Sylvia Thomas, granddaughters, Khloe Lanicek and Hailey Kitsmiller.

A celebration of life service will be held on May 27, 2026, at Farmer Funeral Home, located at 415 N. 4th Street, Silsbee, Texas.
