Nellie Evelyn Brock

Nellie Evelyn Brock, 90, of Baytown passed away Monday, July 28, 2020. She was born in Wickett, Texas November 23, 1929 to the late Wylie Johnston and Edna Wadell Johnston.

Nellie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. She was a feisty, but loving mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. She lived a fulfilling life of integrity, and what a legacy she left behind her! There was nothing more that Nell loved than having coffee with friends or "coffee buddies". Unfortunately, those friends she held so dear had all passed on before her. Her family told her the day she passed, "Mom, there is a hot pot of coffee in heaven waiting on you." Nellie has finally joined her beloved coffee drinking buddies and the family members that she held so dear in eternity at last!

Nellie is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Dale Williams and RC Brock; sons, Ronnie Curtis Williams and Larry Dale Williams; infant daughter, Pamela Rene Williams; granddaughters, Kelly Clevenger and Jessica Williams; stepchildren, Margie Lord, Nelda Spann, and Walter Brock; grandson, Justin Brock and sisters, Dessie McBride and Wynona Kelly.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Williams and wife Marlene of Copper's Cove; daughters, Pat Galloway and LaVon Williams of Baytown; brothers, Bob Johnston, Charlie Johnston and wife Connie of Angleton; daughters in law, LaWonda Williams, Carol Drake, and Margo Williams; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate Nellie's life will be held at 3PM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation the staff of Rollingbrook Rehab in Baytown for taking excellent care of Nellie during her time there.

Services are held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
