Nora Dannetta (Stevenson) Gore

Nora Dannetta Gore, 79, of Fred passed away June 19, 2020.  Dannetta was born in Hemphill March 19, 1941 to Daniel Hugh and Opal Brown Stevenson. She attended Silsbee schools until she married Pee Wee Gore on December 17, 1956.  Dannetta worked as a cook at Fred Elementary and Warren ISD for many years. She was a member of Hillister Assembley of God and loved camping, fishing, and working with beads and thread but above all loved her family.  Dannetta is preceded in death by her parents, husband Pee Wee Gore, grandson Troy Gore and sister Opal Lea Leidel. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Darlene and Tommy Rhodes of Town Bluff and Rhonda and Tim Wilson of Brookland; her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrel and Vonda Gore of Fred, Roger and Kelly Gore of Bridge City and Doug and Melissa Gore of Fred; her brother Danny H. Stevenson; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 10am Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Fred Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
