Ona Margaret (Widner) Proberts

Ona Margaret Proberts, 86, of Silsbee passed away Monday January 15, 2024. She was born April 9, 1937 in Arkansas City, Kansas to the late Ferlin Widner and Lelia Puckett.

Ona was a longtime member of Pinecrest Baptist church in Silsbee. She enjoyed spending her time Crocheting and tending to her plants and flowers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded by, both parents; her loving husband of 47 years, John William Proberts; son Mark Proberts; siblings, Veryl Ray Widner, Charles Anderson Widner, Lois Bertie Foust.

Ona is survived by her daughter, Donna Dove and husband Daniel of Magnolia; son, John Proberts of Silsbee; grandson, James Dove and wife Rebecca of Houston; great granddaughters, Evelyn and Sondra Dove of Houston; brother, Cecil Perry Widner of Silsbee; and a host of other family members and friends.
