Patricia "Trish" (Platt) Caraway

Patricia “Trish” Adelle Caraway, 77, of Silsbee, died Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Port Arthur on January 31, 1947, to William Murray and Frances Juanita (Barlow) Platt.

Trish was a Licensed Vocational Nurse, working for Texas Home Health, for several years. She was a longtime member of Wiley Mae Community Baptist Church and she enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino, playing cards, and her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and MeMe.

Trish is survived by her son; Philip Caraway, of Silsbee; daughter, Amber Caraway, of Houston; grandchildren, Michaela Saunders, of Houston; James Saunders, of Nederland; and Brittany Caraway, of Bridge City; brother, Dennis Platt, of Kountze; and sister, Janis Myers, of, Lumberton; daughter in law, Geraldine Caraway, of Silsbee; and son in law, Moe Saunders, of Nederland; as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 20 years, Don Caraway; and her brothers, William Murray, and James Platt.

A gathering of Mrs. Caraway’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday May 3, 2024 at Farmer Funeral Home 415 N. 4th Street Silsbee, Tx. 77656. Her memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.
