Patricia Bowser Williams, 93, of Evadale, Texas passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Orange, Texas. Pat was born May 22, 1932 in Deweyville, Texas to Oran H. Bowser and Pauline Mixon Bowser.
She was a resident of Evadale for 46 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Pat attended Deweyville Elementary before moving to Lufkin, Texas, where she graduated in 1949. Pat continued her education at Stephen F. Austin University, graduating with a teaching degree. She taught at Lufkin ISD and Evadale ISD and retired from teaching in 1991.
Pat Williams had a giving nature and a sweet spirit. She was always ministering to others. She was a woman of unwavering belief, whose love for the Lord shone through every aspect of her life. She shared her faith through kindness, compassion, and an unyielding love for The Lord.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry S. Williams; son, Ted Williams; brothers and their wives, Joe and Margie Bowser, Jack and Carolyn Bowser, and brother Ronnie Bowser; brother- in-law and sister-in-law, Gerald and Floy Williams, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Rena Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Berry and her husband, Ed, of Lufkin; son, Mark Williams and his wife, Pam, of Evadale; brother, Mike Bowser and his wife, Linda, of Montgomery; sister-in law, Karen Bowser, of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Brad Berry and his wife, Melissa, Brooke Torres, Brent Berry and his wife, Lindsey, Wade Williams and his wife, Cayla, Wendy Longenbaugh and her husband, Dalton, and Wes Wililiams and his wife Holly; great-grandchildren, Tyler Torres and his fiancé, Nathalie Cardoza, Madison Lyles, Claire Berry, Taryn Torres, Madison Davis, Liam Williams, Ted Williams, Addy Williams, Sally Williams, and Bennett Longenbaugh; and great-great-grandson, Mateo Torres; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat now rests in the arms of our Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of The Almighty. “Well done good and faithful servant” Matthew 25:23.
Mrs. Williams’ cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
A private service will be scheduled at the Garden of Memory in Lufkin, at a later date.
