Patsy Ann (Smith) Chadwick, 90, of Saratoga, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 02, 2026. She was born on Saturday, September 21, 1935, to James E. Smith, Sr. and Della D. (Cain) Smith.
For more than 20 years, Patsy was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Saratoga, Texas, where her faith was an important part of her life. She shared a loving and devoted marriage with her husband, Edward J. Chadwick, for 68 wonderful years until his passing in 2020. She found great joy tending to her beautiful flowers, working in her yard, and spending time at home. Above all, she cherished her family and looked forward to the gatherings she lovingly planned, creating lasting memories for those she loved. Her faith, kindness, and dedication to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward J. Chadwick; parents; her brother, James Earl Smith, Jr. and her son, John Paul Chadwick, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Mark Chadwick and wife Michelle of Kountze, daughter, Helen Williams of Atascocita; grandchildren; John Paul Chadwick, Jr. of Hardin; great-grandchildren, John Paul Chadwick III of Hardin and Abigail Chadwick of Hardin; great-great grandchildren, John Paul Chadwick, IV of Hardin, Leah Brightwell Chadwick of Hardin; sisters, Earleen Blacksher of Lumberton and Mary Johnson of Lumberton; numerous nieces and nephews.
