Rhonda Sue Jones

Rhonda Sue Jones, 62, of Silsbee passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was born July 26, 1958 in Kountze, Texas to Wilma Wilburn-Hooks and the late Raymond Hooks.

Rhonda was a loving mother and Nana to her children and grandchildren. She attended Silsbee High School and was a homemaker most of her life. Rhonda loved the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo, and sewing. Rhonda Married Billy Jones March 28, 1997 and between them they had 10 children. She was very loved and will be dearly missed.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Hooks; and a sister, Valoyce Hinton.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, William "Billy" Jones of Silsbee; mother, Wilma Hooks of Silsbee; children, Jackie Jones of Silsbee. Wesley Roth and wife Nicole of Fred, Dana Washington and husband Phillip of Silsbee, Brian Moye and wife Michelle of Honey Island, Jeremy Jones and wife June of Silsbee, Chris Jones and wife Jennifer of Village Mills, Sarah Peagler and husband Nathan of Florida, Michael Ramsey and wife Charli of Louisiana, Johnny Ramsey and wife Christina of Kentucky, Brandy Ramsey of Orange; siblings, Rayland Hooks and wife Linda of Honey Island, Raymond Hooks Jr. and wife Mona of Pearland, Ouida Ohair; 24 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Farmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hooks-Cravy Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-7PM at the Funeral Home.
